Experimental and Numerical simulation of a Three Point Bending Test of a Stainless Steel Beam

An advanced simulation process of a stainless steel member in ANSYS technology is described this paper. A three-point bending test hot rolled material grade 1.4301 (AISI 304) has been conducted. The cross-section the beam was IPE80, with span supports equal to 240 mm. results experimental were compared materially and geometrically nonlinear numerical analysis.
